I grew up drawn to the quiet, in-between moments — the ones that happen between the posed shots, between the speeches, between the laughter. Those are the photographs that people keep on their walls for decades. That's what I'm always looking for.

Based in the heart of Bath, I am lucky to live and work in one of England's most beautiful cities. The Georgian architecture, the river, the secret gardens, the rolling hills just beyond — Bath gives every photograph a natural depth and beauty that I never take for granted.
I walk to every local shoot. I use natural light wherever I can. I try to leave every location exactly as I found it. My approach to photography is the same as my approach to the environment — quiet, careful, and always looking for what's already beautiful.

This approach changes everything about the photographs. When you're not in a rush, when you're not setting things up — you start to notice the light shifting on a wall, the way a bride's dress moves in the wind, the look two people give each other when they think nobody's watching.
When I'm not photographing, you'll find me walking the hills above Bath, tending to my garden, or exploring the second-hand bookshops on Walcot Street. Bath is endlessly inspiring to me — the way the light falls on the stone in late afternoon, the way the city changes with every season.
I believe the best photographers are also curious, attentive people. I read widely, I travel when I can, and I am always looking — at faces, at light, at the spaces between things. That habit of attention is what I bring to every shoot.
I am also a deeply personal photographer. I don't take on more work than I can give my full self to. Every client I work with gets my complete attention — before, during and after their session. That's a promise I've kept for 11 years.
